Safety

We will always ask to check your diving qualifications unless of course you’re a brand new diver. All of our staff are fully insured and we also check that you are also insured, if you’re not then we can give you an option to buy either daily, weekly or yearly insurance with Scuba Medic who are a world recognised organisation for scuba diver insurance services.
We are a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) registered dive company which means that we maintain professional standards and training and we can be checked on the Padi web site.
All of our equipment is checked, maintained and serviced where and when required. For example, in Spain a scuba diving cylinder/tank has to have a visual inspection with a registered authority every year and a hydrostatic test every 3 years. We carry certificates for all of our equipment.

Our Shop & Training

When you come and visit us you will see clean, efficient and tidy premises. At this point you will get a feel for the type of diving company we are and notice that all of our diving qualifications are available for you to see including our insurance and equipment.
All of our staff are fully trained in first aid and first aid instruction. We always carry a full first aid and oxygen kit on every dive and, should we need it a full evacuation plan

Excel Scuba Tenerife is centrally located in Playa de las Americas and a short drive away from some of the best scuba diving sites Tenerife has to offer. Excel Scuba Tenerife has a variety of dive sites that we use to accommodate all levels of divers from your first PADI Discover Scuba Dive through to a Divemaster Internship or PADI Divemaster Course as well as a large variety of PADI speciality courses.

Excel Scuba welcomes divers from all dive training organisations.

Our dive resort is particular about putting safety first and our instructors are all Emergency First Response trained as well as our head instructor being an experienced PADI Master Instructor.
